Metal Catalysts: Chelating agent for producing Metal Acetylacetonates (e.g., Al, Zn, Co, Ni) used in polymerization and organic synthesis. Pharmaceuticals: Synthesis of Sulfamethazine, Nicarbazin, and Vitamin B6. Solvents: Solvent for cellulose acetate and organic synthesis.
