Chemical Name: 1,4-Diamino-2,3-dichloroanthraquinone (DCDA)

• Appearance: Dark purple to black powder

• Shade: Bright Reddish Violet

• Melting Point: 295°C (High thermal stability)

• Solubility: Soluble in Acetone, Ethanol, Benzene. Insoluble in water.

1. Dye Synthesis Intermediate (Primary Use):

• Critical precursor for synthesizing Disperse Blue 60 (Turquoise Blue) and Disperse Violet 26.

• Key building block for producing high-end Anthraquinone dyes.

2. Textile Dyeing:

• Polyester (PES): Ideal for dyeing polyester knitted fabrics via High-Temp High-Pressure method.

• Automotive Textiles: Selected for its high light fastness (Grade 6-7).

• Also suitable for Acetate and Nylon fibers.

3. Plastics & Resin Coloring:

• Used as Solvent Violet 31/51 equivalents for coloring rigid plastics.
