A versatile chemical with dual roles as a solvent and intermediate:

• Reaction Solvent: Due to its high boiling point (272°C) and chemical stability, DEBA is an excellent solvent for high-temperature synthesis, replacing DMF or DMAC in specific catalytic reactions.

• Pharmaceutical Intermediate: Used in the synthesis of APIs requiring a benzoyl group transfer or as a precursor for Secondary Alcohol Deoxygenation reagents.

• Photoinitiator Auxiliary: Acts as a co-initiator or amine synergist in UV-curing systems, improving surface cure speed by reducing oxygen inhibition.
