Key Applications

Hydrogen Peroxide Production

Acts as the ideal solvent in the anthraquinone process. It replaces hydrogenated terpineol due to its higher extraction distribution coefficient and chemical stability.

Plastics & Cold Resistance

Used as a cold-resistant plasticizer for synthetic resins and rubbers. It maintains flexibility at low temperatures and is often used in PVC formulations.
