3,5-Dimethylpyrazole

3,5-DMP as an Isocyanate Blocking Agent

3,5-DMP is widely used as a pyrazole-type blocking agent for polyisocyanates. It reacts with active NCO groups to produce blocked isocyanate structures with controlled reactivity during formulation and storage. Under suitable thermal curing conditions, the blocked system can regenerate reactive isocyanate functionality and participate in crosslinking.
