Comparison with Related Fluorophores:
Unlike 9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene (BPEA) which emits green light, BPEN produces a distinct blue emission due to the different substituent pattern. This makes it particularly valuable for applications requiring true blue fluorescence.
