IPAM is preferred over sodium salts when oil solubility and low moisture are required:

• Dry Cleaning & Degreasing:
  Used as a high-efficiency surfactant in solvent-based cleaning systems (dry cleaning charge soaps) and heavy-duty industrial degreasers due to its excellent solubility in hydrocarbons.

• Agrochemicals (Pesticides):
  Acts as a premium emulsifier for Emulsifiable Concentrates (EC) and oil-based pesticide formulations, ensuring stable dispersion.

• Oilfield Chemicals:
  Utilized in tertiary oil recovery to reduce oil-water interfacial tension. Also functions as a demulsifier for crude oil dehydration and sludge treatment.

• Industrial Emulsification:
  An effective emulsifier for textile antistatic agents, leather degreasing, and metalworking fluids.
