Key Applications
1. Personal Care & Surfactants (High Demand)

  • Amino Acid Surfactants: Reacts with Sarcosine to produce Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, and with Glutamate for Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate. These are premium, mild surfactants for sulfate-free shampoos and cleansers.

2. Organic Peroxides (Polymer Industry)

  • Initiator Synthesis: The primary raw material for manufacturing Dilauroyl Peroxide (LPO), a critical initiator for PVC production and acrylate polymerization.

3. Pharma & Surface Modification

  • Used to attach hydrophobic C12 chains to peptides or proteins.

  • Surface modification of nanocellulose.
