Dibenzoylmethane (DBM)

• Appearance: White to slightly yellowish crystalline powder

• Solubility: Soluble in ether, chlorform, and sodium hydroxide; insoluble in water.

Essential additive for non-toxic PVC Formulation:

• PVC Co-Stabilizer: Acts as a critical synergist with Calcium/Zinc (Ca/Zn) or Barium/Zinc systems. It effectively chelates Zinc chloride to prevent "Zinc Burning."

• Color Improvement: Significantly enhances initial color and long-term thermal stability in rigid PVC (bottles, sheets, transparent films).

• UV Absorption: Provides auxiliary UV protection for polymers (absorbs strongly at >290nm).

• Synthesis: Used as a reagent for the synthesis of herbicides and complexing agents.

Packaging: 25kg Cardboard Drum (lined with PE bag) or 50kg Fiber Drum.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and strong oxidizers.
